Something of a mystery!
This robe is made from royal blue wool with gorgeous kashmiri embroidery. 
I think the original textile is from the 1930s, and was remade into this in the 1970s.
Self covered buttons.
Belt with slide buckle. 
Good condition, areas of fading throughout. 
Inside bodice finished with hem tape a lighter blue color.
