What a find!

This dress was made as an edwardian gown costume by the MGM Wardrobe Dept, stamp on inside waistband.

Probably from 1970s.

Made from antique metallic lace in silver and black.

Bodice has wide beaded collar and pleated organza trim.

Big puff sleeves of silver and black lame with black net overlay and silver lace flounces.

Black velvet shaped belt is tacked on and can be removed.

Lined with silver faux silk.

Back zip closure.

Trained skirt is unhemmed.

Liberally decorated with print set rhinestones.

Soooo much sparkle!

Fair condition.

Silver lace has some holes and snags.

Lots of stains in faux silk lining.

Soiling along hem, especially in train.

Definitely a project piece, but with such beautiful materials, a little work will definitely pay off!
