Absolutely amazing Edwardian three piece gown.
Made of blue cotton silk blend, this has so many beautiful features.
Bodice has classic pigeon front shape with elbow length poof sleeves.
One inch wide velvet ribbon trimming on sleeves and bust.
Drape piece of silk velvet with heavy gold metallic lace appliques.
Velvet shirring trim and generous trimming with pink silk rosebuds.
Button back.
Full skirt was pintucks all through hips.
Hem is adorned with two rows of ruffles and valencienne lace.
Ivory velvet ribbon matches the blouse.
Closes with hook and eyes.
Pale blue velvet cummerbund is boned at center front and either side of back hook and eye closures.
Pink rosebud trimming here too.
Good condition.
Fabric is supple with no tearing.
Light fading throughout but nothing severe.
A few very small holes.
Structurally very good and can be worn.
There are a lot of stains, mostly at left hip, through the bottom hem areas of the skirt, and the left sleeve.
Has not been cleaned.
Wear with care.
Sold as-is.
Great for study, salvage, or displays beautifully.
